Mumbai: If a dog bites a man that’s a common incident and in most cases it’s acceptable but what if the dog has beaten brutally by a man what would be your reactions? red and inflamed?
A stray dog, who was finding space to hide from the rain in Mumbai’s Worli was beaten brutally by the watchman of the building. This incident overwhelmed the many dog lovers, politicians and Bollywood celebs.

Lucky the stray dog is taken up care by the Bombay Animal Rights in Mumbai’s clinic and they are giving regular updates of the condition of Lucky. No matters how bad it was but that’s painful .”He squirms in pain when his wounds are cleaned. He is very skinny and weak and is being given multivitamins and drips due to severe dehydration, ” the group wrote on Facebook two days ago.
One of the protesters Vatsal Raja said, “The manner in which that poor dog lucky was tied with the rope, dragged and hit by the stick by the watchman was not acceptable and the resident people should show some courtesy for the animal if he was trying to find shelters to hide from the rain”.

“Lucky is stable but is still critical. He is not strong enough to undergo extensive treatment. He is fighting back,” the group said today.
Mumbai dog lover, politicians and many mates turned for the protest outside Worli building and yesterday night some of the volunteers were outside the police station to get the photocopy of the FIR.
Update: Lucky is out of danger but still under observation at NGO and accused is still in custody but not yet arrested, charge sheet under progress.
