“what are your plans for tonight?” Theo asked, leaning on his desk, his brown eyes surveying the mess in Vance’s workspace. It wasn’t like his friend to be this careless but these days he was acting out, more than usual. He saw Vance shrug and take a sip from his black coffee, frowning at something on the screen. He typed some more on his laptop, trying to block out his friend still looming over him. Vance finally sighed and glanced the boyish face of Theo, his friend wore spectacles which gave him, even more, look for a college student. “Where is it this time?” he asked. Theo had a habit of dragging his ass out on weekends, taking him to see book fairs, art exhibitions and what not. Not that Vance minded, art fascinated him. It was wondrous to see how beautiful the result of pain could be. But it wasn’t much fun when he took him to silly gatherings that were supposed to be fun. Theo rolled his eyes at Vance, “First lunch, let’s go!”
They both stepped out in the cold afternoon, shivering slightly as the wind hit their faces. Vance regretted not wearing a warmer jacket. They had a usual place for lunch, a small café down the road and served the best-fried rice, topped with a fried egg, Vance loved it. They took a seat inside, enjoying the warmth of the atmosphere. Theo took out a book from his bag as usual, while Vance pretended to read the menu. It was a loud place, with music a mix of pop and indie. With some punks and hippies on the rest of the tables, the café served all typed of cuisines which attracted all kinds of the crowd, especially people from Asian countries. Vance’s gaze slowly shifted from the menu to the Chinese couple sitting on the opposite table, talking in animated voices. They had bright voices, happy voices. He guessed they just got engaged, ‘Lucky them’ he thought. Vance ordered the same thing as always and Theo ordered Indian Curry, he had sworn to try every single dish on the menu. Once, he had tried an African dish so spicy, it left him tears. “So, what’s your plan this time?” Vance ventured when he saw no indication of Theo lifting his face from the book.
Theo smirked, he knew he has got Vance to be curious. Even though he was a pain in the ass, Vance loved him all the same. The thought was very amusing to Theo. He gave Vance a cheeky smile before putting down his book. “what are your thoughts about a road trip?” Vance narrowed his eyes at him, “We are not going to Vegas” Theo rolled his eyes, “of course not, how about Philly?” Vance groaned, “We’ve been to Philadelphia more times than I can count.”
“Fuck you man, you can’t just go to Philly enough” “Hell no”Theo glared at his friend from across the table, “Then Clubbing it is, this weekend!” he exclaimed. Vance looked at his friend bemusedly, “we can’t go to Philly, so you want to go to a club, what sense does it make?”Theo had to try hard to bite back his smile, “I want to drink my sorrows away.”
Vance raised his eyebrows, “pray, what sorrows do you have?” “Well, for a start, the smell of this curry is one.” Both guys laughed at that.Zakima crushed the weed, rolling it between her fingers as her feet rested on the lap of the guy’s
lap. It was only three in the afternoon and they were already one joint down. The small apartment reeked of ash and smoke. She carefully separated the seeds and the roots, taking a whiff occasionally. There was green day playing in the background as Kaden rubbed her feet. They had partied all night last night. The details were still hazy to her but somehow, it had ended up with her under him naked. He made breakfast in the morning, so she let him stay. Kaden also had a stash of weed with him, so here they were smoking up on a chilly afternoon. Kaden had soft hands and
even soft hair, she blushed thinking how much she pulled at it last night and this morning. She had skipped work to stay home with him. they hadn’t spoken much but it wasn’t necessary. She met him last night when she went out to party with some friends.
The bartender had introduced him as a devil with green eyes. But she found them extraordinarily attractive. He had black raven hair like hers, overgrown and greasy. He had piercing everywhere, on his tongue, besides his eyebrow, even on his dick. She blew away the roots, mixing tobacco in it. Kaden looked over at the beautiful girl wearing only a loose t-shirt. she had a petite figure, plump lips and grey eyes. He rubbed her feet as she rolled up the joint, the music was making his head vibrate, he bent over a placed a small kiss on the sole. She giggled at that. That sound was music to his ears, her voice gave him the best high ever. So, he did that again and again until he was heading up and the joint was forgotten beside the table. He kissed her until she was panting underneath him begging for more. Zakima was squirming with pleasure as she let him take control over her body, throwing all other thoughts out of her mind. She moaned and whined, pulling at his hair as he discarded her off the thin t-shirt. The living room was cold and his body was hot, making her shiver under him. He made a quick work of his clothes and laid on the top of her, fondling her body, kissing her lips and biting her neck. Zakima rubbed against him, wanting to be quick but Kaden was making her wait. Frustrated she flipped over to him, climbing on the top of him. he laughed at her sudden attempt to take the lead and took over control back just as easily, letting her stay on the top. They pushed and pulled at each other, with frustrated groans and pleasurable moans.
Zakima had enough of the foreplay until Kaden’s phone started ringing. She groaned and he gave a short laugh before rolling off to pick it up. Kaden glared at the screen seeing the caller id, he still had to pick it up. “yes baby, I will be home soon. No, I was stuck with some work. I love you too.”Zakima heard his voice coming from the next room. She sighed with disappointment. Getting up, she picked up the loose t-shirt, putting it back on. ‘why do people have to do this to people they love’ she thought sadly, remembering that one drunk night. He came back in the room, still naked, raising an eyebrow at her as he saw her in clothes. He took a seat beside her, knowing that she heard him, but he couldn’t care less, she was just chick he picked up at the club, why would she care about his business. “ can you leave?”
Kaden was honestly surprised, “why sweetheart? We were having such fun.” He murmured,
pushing back her hair and kissing her neck. She shivered at that, she could feel herself hitting her
high. “Why are you unfaithful to her?” she asked. “Because we look for things we don’t have with them from somewhere else,” he replied, more focussed on where his hands were going. “do you promise not to do that again?” she asked with a small voice. “only this last time.” He whispered as he got her own her back. Afterwards, he left her apartment, with his jacket on his shoulder, with black hair blowing sideways as he stepped out of her apartment. She put on the loose t-shirt, realising it belonged to Vance. Sighing, she lit up the joint with the same ache in her heart and an empty apartment this time.
